A resounding 85 run victory for Old Firparnians was the result of the second match of the season, At the delightful Frecheville ground, Firps' Captain again won the toss and this week elected to bat. After a disastrous top order batting collapse left the Firps reeling at 14-4, a century stand in just 15 overs between John Gibson and Simon France created a platform for a competitive total of 193. Tight bowling from the start, and the steady falling of wickets meant that, despite Firps using 11 bowlers in the match, victory was still achieved by almost 100 runs and in some style
